The first version of this website was a Photoshop file from 2007. It had everything a clan page of the time needed: a login box, a poll, a match ticker with tiny game icons, a sponsor bar with Kappa and SteelSeries, and three columns of news. It also had the logo you still see at the top of this page, a sharp, underwater-blue wordmark with a crescent moon cutting through the “A”.
What we kept
The logo. It is the original 2007 vector, not a redraw. We only changed how it is lit. On this site the crescent glows and a slow shimmer runs along its edges.
The moon. The crescent was always a moon. Here it became the organising idea: every final whose exact day is known shows the moon of that night, and the home page moon wanes into the crescent as you scroll.
The underwater blue. The 2007 wallpaper was a dark navy with a blue glow in the middle, like light seen from the bottom of a pool. The whole site uses that palette, down to the scanlines.
What we changed
Almost everything else. The 2007 layout put nine boxes on the first screen. This one puts one thing on each screen. The news ticker survived as a single line in the header, and the sponsor bar became a slow band under the hero.
The 2007 design was drawn for a 1024-pixel screen and Internet Explorer. This one is built for phones first and loads faster than the old one would have on DSL. Every animation on it respects your system’s reduced-motion setting.
The archive
Doing this properly meant writing down where the name comes from, and showing only what can be sourced. The original Team NoA was founded in November 2003, won CPL Winter 2004 in Dallas, and reached two world finals in 2007 before its Counter-Strike team merged into mTw. That story now has its own page, with the 2007 design included, and every era has a squad page. There are no licensed photos of the players yet, so each one is shown with the crescent until a real portrait can be added.
