In January 2006 the Danes arrived. After a week of preparation the new NoA beat fnatic in the shgOpen final, and by the end of the year the club was Danish.

The Scandinavian roster of 2005 did not survive the new year. Kixer, Red and speedi left on 1 January 2006, and DarK on 4 January.

The Danes arrive

The same week the Danes zonic and hpx joined, the first of many. On 13 January the Norwegians prb and xione completed the roster around XeqtR, the captain and the last player left from the title team of 2004 and 2005.

shgOpen

After a week of preparation the new roster won shgOpen 2006, held from 17 to 19 February. In the grand final it beat the Swedish favourites fnatic 16–12. From there the team flew to Seoul for the fourth season of the World e-Sports Games.

A Danish club

The rest of 2006 changed the team again. Paddy replaced xione in May. In July XeqtR announced his retirement from competitive play and prb left, and mJe and FaagaN joined. In August ave came in for FaagaN. In November NoA signed the Korean Warcraft III team Clan Go and became a multi-gaming organisation. That year Martin “guddo” Cording also bought the organisation from BrandTheGame, and ownership and roster were now entirely Danish.

By December the club’s website was celebrating a ClanBase EuroCup XIII title, won 2–0 against Speed-Link.

The shgOpen line-up is the 2006 squad, and the final is on the finals page.
